Richland County EMS

Richland County EMS has received a 10% increase in salary for all new hires!

Richland County EMS is now hiring EMTs and Paramedics for 12 hour shifts with varying start times.  Join an exciting EMS Service unlike any other including paid Physician led In-Service Training, several specialty teams that include tactical paramedic and the only dedicated motorcycle medics around.  In addition, we have an expanding Mobile Integrated Healthcare Collaborative in conjunction with Palmetto Health (similar to Community Paramedics) and cover all USC and many other special events within Richland County.

Paramedics have a career ladder, starting as a second man.  In 3 months you will be eligible for Crew Leader (5% raise), then Senior Parmedic when an opening occurs (another 5% raise).  Eligible EMTs and AEMTs are sent to Paramedic class.

Minimum eligibility requirements are a high school diploma or GED, valid South Carolina Driver’s License, and a current South Carolina certification as an EMT or Paramedic.
