The day has arrived ! The Bureau of EMS is excited to announce the posting of the Bureau of EMS Opioiod Overdose Prevention Coordinator, a 5 year grant funded position that is designed to set one driven individual to MAKE A DIFFERENCE in the lives of those affected by the opioid epidemic in South Carolina.  This newly developed position is open to Paramedics and RN's, with a preference going to those candidates that have law enforcement and / or training experience. You will be on the literal tip ofthe spear as part of a multi-agency team created to reduce mortality from opioid overdoses and assist in providing resources through local EMS agencies to provide treatment options and a “We Care” attitude to our citizens suffering from this horrible disease.
